Jell-o Fruited Squares

Ingredients

- 2 (10 1/8 g) packages strawberry gelatin
- 1 1/2 cups boiling water
- 1 cup cold water
- 2 cups cool whip topping, thawed
- 1 (398 ml) can fruit cocktail, drained (in fruit juice or light syrup)
Recipe
- 1 dissolve jelly powder in boiling water. combine cold water and ice cubes to make 2 cups. add to jelly and stir until slightly thickened; removeany unmelted ice. measure 1 cup jelly and fold into whipped topping; pour into an 8-inch pan.
- 2 arrange fruit on creamy layer. spoon remaining jelly over fruit. chill until firm, about 3 hours. cut into 9 squares.
