Ingredients

- 3 ounces bourbon whiskey
- 1 1/2 teaspoons simple syrup
- 1 1/4 ounces fresh lemon juice
- 8 fresh mint leaves
- 3/4 cup crushed ice
- 1 sprig fresh mint (to garnish)
Recipe
- 1 place mint leaves, bourbon, simple syrup and lemon juice into a blender and pulse for just a second or two.
- 2 add 3/4 cup of crushed ice and blend until slushy.
- 3 pour into a chilled, large old-fashioned glass or large goblet and garnish with mint sprig.
