Quick Mix Fruit Cocktail Cake

Total Time: 50 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 45 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 9
  • 1 package pillsbury banana quick bread mix
  • 16 ounces fruit cocktail, undrained
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1/2 cup miniature semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar, firmly packed

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 375 degrees fahrenheit(350 for glass pan).
  • 2 grease and flour 8 or 9-inch square pan or 11x7 inch pan.
  • 3 combine bread mix, undrained fruit cocktail, and egg.
  • 4 stir until well mixed.
  • 5 pour into prepared pan.
  • 6 combine nuts, brown sugar and mini morsels.
  • 7 sprinkle over batter.
  • 8 bake at 375 degrees for 35-45 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center of cake comes out clean.
  • 9 serve warm or cold.
  • 10 can serve with whipped cream or ice cream.
