strawberry cake

Ingredients

  • Servings: 1
  • 1 (18.25 ounce) package white cake mix
  • 3 egg whites
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 3/4 cup strawberry mix
  • 2 tablespoons grated lime zest
  • 1 (16 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed

Recipe

    Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 25 mins Ready Time: 1 hr 40 mins

  • preheat oven to 350 degrees f (175 degrees c). grease and flour a 9x13-inch pan.
  • in a large bowl, stir together cake mix, egg whites, oil, water and mix. pour batter into prepared pan. bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean. allow to cool.
  • stir lime zest into the cool whip®. frost cooled cake and refrigerate until serving.
