Ingredients

  • Servings: 1
  • 1 1/2 ounces green chartreuse liqueur
  • 6 ounces pineapple juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon lime
  • ice

Recipe

  • 1 to each 1-1/2 ounces of green chartreuse, add 6 ounces pineapple juice, 1/4 teaspoon lime, and ice.
  • 2 stir.
  • 3 note: one bottle of green chartreuse makes one gallon of swampwater.
  • 4 careful this is a very potent drink.

Champagne Cobbler Cocktail

Ingredients

  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon curacao
  • thin slice orange

Recipe

  • 1 fill a large goblet half full of cracked ice. add lemon juice, curaçao and orange slice. stir and top off glass with champagne or sparkling wine. stir again gently.

  • 1 combine cranberry juice, grand marnier, and lime juice in a small pitcher and mix well.
  • 2 hold a lime strip over a tall champagne flute, twist or tie it into a single knot to release the essential oils, and drop the zest into the flute. repeat with remaining zest and seven more flutes.

  • 1 pour champagne into a large bowl & sprinkle gelatin over champagne.
  • 2 set aside.
  • 3 heat orange juice and honey in small saucepan over medium-high heat 3 minutes or until well blended and thoroughly heated.
  • 4 add hot juice mixture to champagne mixture, and stir 5 minutes or until gelatin dissolves.

  • 1 prepare 1 can orange juice concentrate according to can directions. pour into ice cube trays. place a cherry in each cube, freeze 8 hours or overnight.
  • 2 prepare remaining orange juice concentrate according to can directions. stir in champagne just before serving. add ice cubes, garnish with mint.

  • 2 cups water
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons dried lavender blossoms

Recipe

  • 1 bring ingredients to a boil in saucepan, stirring so that the sugar dissolves. reduce heat and continue stirring until all the sugar has dissolved.
  • 2 remove from heat and let steep for 30 minutes.
  • 3 remove lavender blossoms and allow syrup to cool.

  • 1 rub lime wedge around rim of margarita glass or martini glass. dip rim in chile salt and set aside.

  • 8 lime slices

Recipe

  • 1 place blossoms in a strainer; rinse under cold water.
  • 2 combine blossoms, water, and sugar in a medium saucepan; bring to a boil.

  • 1 for transfusion bags:.
  • 2 6 zipper-lock sandwich bags.
  • 3 6 straws, twisted or flexible.
  • 4 6 shower curtain rings.
  • 5 puree the fruit cocktail and cherries , with their liquids, in a blender or food processor until smooth. mix in the cranberry juice cocktail and refrigerate until chilled.
  • 6 to prepare the "transfusion bags," punch a hole with a hole-punch in the corner of one layer of a zipper-lock sandwich bag just below the zipper. insert a twisty straw or flexible straw in the hole and punch another hole in the same corner of the bag through both layers, just above the zipper. thread a shower curtain ring through that hole. repeat with remaining bags, straws and shower curtain rings.
  • 7 to serve, pour 1 cup of the cranberry-cherry mixture into each bag and seal. hang by the shower curtain rings on hooks. guests can hold their drink by the ring and sip through the straw.
  • 8 note: if you want a more adult cocktail, add 3/4-cup vodka to the juice mixture before chilling. this mixture will yield 9, 3/4-cup servings.

Peach On The Beach

  • 3 ounces cranberry juice

Recipe

  • 1 fill a highball glass with ice, and add vodka, schnapps and pineapple juice. fill with cranberry juice. stir and serve.

Peach Margarita

Ingredients

  • 2 ounces peach schnapps
  • 1 1/2 ounces tequila
  • 1 ounce orange juice
  • 1/2 ounce grand marnier

  • lemon juice, a splash
  • coarse sugar, for garnish

Recipe

  • 1 **coat the rim of the cocktail glass with coarse sugar, if desired.

  • 3 combine the tequila, peach schnapps, blue curacao, lemon and lime juice and the sugar with ice and shake in a cocktail shaker for at least 30 seconds.

  • 1 ---to make the crab boil mix---.
  • 2 add all of the ingredients to the bowl of a food processor fitted with the metal blade.
  • 3 pulsing, process until the mixture forms a coarse powder.

  • 5 in a large kettle, bring 6 cups water to a boil; add the crab boil mix.
  • 6 simmer for 10 minutes.
  • 7 add the shrimp and cook for 4 to 5 minutes, just until the shrimp turn pink and are translucent throughout – do not overcook or shrimp will be tough; drain well.

  • 4 tablespoons espresso, cooled

  • long lemon twist

Recipe

  • 1 wipe the rim of a chilled, oversized martini glass with lemon wedge.
  • 2 pour sugar and chocolate into a saucer and mix well.
  • 3 dip glass rim in mixture and roll to thoroughly coat rim.
  • 4 over a large handful of ice in a cocktail shaker, pour espresso, vodka, and creme de cacao. shake until frothy. strain into prepared glass. garnish rim with a twist and stand back.

  • 1 tablespoon kosher salt
  • 4 limes, divided
  • 1/2 small hamlin oranges or 1/2 small valencia orange
  • 2 tablespoons light agave nectar
  • 3/4 cup ice cube, about 3 to 4

Recipe

  • 1 pour 1/2-ounce of the tequila into a small saucer.
  • 2 spread the kosher salt in a separate small saucer.
  • 3 dip the rim of a martini or other wide rimmed glass into the tequila.
  • 4 lift out of the tequila and hold upside down for 10 seconds to allow for slight evaporation.
  • 5 next, dip the glass into the salt to coat the rim.
  • 6 set aside.
  • 7 halve 2 of the limes, cut a thin slice for garnish from 1, and set aside.
  • 8 juice the halved limes into the bottom of a boston-style cocktail shaker.
  • 9 cut the remaining 2 limes and the orange into quarters and add them to the juice in the shaker.
  • 10 add the agave nectar to and muddle for 2 minutes until the juices are release.
  • 11 strain the juice mixture through a cocktail strainer into the top of the shaker and discard the solids.

  • 13 add the ice to the shaker, cover and shake for 30 seconds.
  • 14 strain the mixture through a cocktail strainer into the prepared glass, garnish with reserved lime slice, and serve immediately.

  • 12 teaspoons prepared horseradish

Recipe

  • 1 add enough cold water to cover shrimp by 1 inch.
  • 2 add peppercorns, lemon peel, bay leaf and salt. bring to boil high heat and boil shrimp 30 seconds or until just turn pink and just cooked.
  • 3 drain and rinse under running cold water and drain them thoroughly.
  • 4 sauce: in a bowl combine all ingredients and chill.
  • 5 line cocktail glasses with bibb lettuce and add 1 tablespoon sauce to each glass.

  • 1 bunch fresh lavender, about 20 stems
  • 1/2 orange, zest of (optional)

Recipe

  • 1 pour one bottle of vodka over a bunch of fresh lavender - i keep old and decorative bottles for this purpose! (kilner jars are also good for this).
  • 2 add the orange peel if using.
  • 3 store in a dark and cool place - or in the fridge - for about 2 weeks before using.
  • 4 ready to use when the vodka smells and tastes of lavender.
  • 5 strain into a fresh bottle or jar and use for martinis and simple vodka based cocktails.

Peach Pie Salad
