Sautéed Shrimp Cocktail With Yogurt Dipping Sauce

Total Time: 15 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 lb jumbo shrimp, peeled, tail-on, deveined
  • 1 tablespoon herbes de provence
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 1 1/4 cups plain yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons whole grain mustard
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon ground turmeric
  • 1/4 cup basil, fresh, chopped

Recipe

  • 1 in a large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat.
  • 2 add the shrimp and herbes de provence.
  • 3 season to taste with salt and pepper.
  • 4 cook the shrimp, stirring frequently, until pink and cooked through, about 3 minutes each side.
  • 5 in a small bowl, mix yogurt, mayonnaise, mustard, maple syrup, turmeric and basil until smooth; season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • 6 place the yogurt mixture in a dipping bowl; place on serving platter along with cooked shrimp.
