Ingredients
- 3/4 cup water
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 cup fresh lime juice
Recipe
- 1 combine water and sugar in a saucepan; bring to a boil, stirring, until sugar dissolves; cool syrup.
- 2 mix syrup with lemon and lime juices; chill until cold; keep covered in refrigerator for up to one week.
- 3 note: this mixture is great for most cocktails, but for margaritas you may want to reduce the sugar to 1/2 cup.
