Fruit And Juice Squares

Total Time: 3 hrs 20 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 3 hrs

Ingredients

  • Servings: 9
  • 1 package jello sugar-free strawberry gelatin (8-serving size)
  • 1 1/2 cups boiling water
  • 1 cup cold orange juice, and ice to make 1 1/4 cups
  • 1 (8 3/4 ounce) can drained fruit cocktail
  • 8 ounces cool whip light whipped topping

Recipe

  • 1 stir 1-1/2 cups boiling water into the l pkg.
  • 2 strawberry gelatin in a large bowl at least 2 minutes until dissolved.
  • 3 mix l cup cold orange juice and ice to make 1-1/4 cup.
  • 4 stir into gelatin.
  • 5 refrigerate 30 minutes or until slightly thickened.
  • 6 remove 1-1/2 cups of the gelatin; stir in the drained fruit cocktail.
  • 7 stir 1/2 of the cool whip into remaining gelatin with a wire whisk until blended.
  • 8 pour into a 9-inch square dish.
  • 9 refrigerate about 10 minutes until set but not firm.
  • 10 carefully spoon fruit gelatin over creamy layer in dish.
  • 11 refrigerate 3 hours or until firm.
  • 12 cut into squares.
  • 13 garnish with remaining cool whip.
