Honey Nut Cocktail Dogs

Ingredients

• 2 (8 ounce) packages crescent roll dough
• 1 (16 ounce) package mini smoked sausage (like "lil' smokies")
• 1/2 cup butter or 1/2 cup margarine
• 3 tablespoons brown sugar
• 3 tablespoons honey
• 1/2 cup finely chopped walnuts

Recipe

• 1 unroll crescent roll dough. separate into triangles. cut each triangle into 3 smaller triangles or pieces. roll a sausage in each. place in a buttered 9 x 13 pan. in a saucepan, melt butter. stir in honey and brown sugar. cook until mixture begins to boil. pour mixture over prepared sausage crescents. sprinkle with nuts. bake at 400 degrees for 15 - 20 minutes or until golden brown. serve with toothpicks.
