Sangria Slush

Ingredients
- 1 (8 ounce) can crushed pineapple
- 2 1/2 cups dry red wine
- 1 1/2 cups orange juice
- 1/2 cup lemon juice
- 1/2 cup sugar
- lemon, rind of, for garnish if desired
Recipe
- 1 several hours before serving: blend pineapple, red wine, orange juice, lemon juice and sugar in a blender at high speed for about 20 to 30 seconds.
- 2 be sure all sugar is dissolved.
- 3 pour mixture into a 9 x 9 inch baking pan or something similar.
- 4 freeze mixture in the freezer.
- 5 when ready to serve, take pan from freezer and let stand at room temp until softened.
- 6 stir with a spoon until semi-thawed then spoon into wine glasses.
- 7 garnish with lemon peel, if desired.
