Maggie's Golden Fruit Punch

Total Time: 2 hrs 20 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 2 hrs

Ingredients

  • 1 (30 ounce) can fruit cocktail, undrained (in juice)
  • 1 (29 ounce) can peaches in juice, undrained
  • 1 (20 ounce) can crushed pineapple, undrained
  • 4 medium bananas
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 (12 ounce) can frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • carbonated lemon-lime beverage, chilled

Recipe

  • 1 place fruit cocktail in a blender; cover and process until smooth.
  • 2 pour into a large freezer container.
  • 3 repeat with peaches and pineapple.
  • 4 place bananas, sugar and water in the blender; process until smooth.
  • 5 add to pureed fruit with orange juice concentrate and lemon juice, mix well.
  • 6 cover and freeze.
  • 7 remove from freezer 2 hours before serving.
  • 8 just before serving, mash mixture using a potato masher.
  • 9 for each serving, combine 1/4 cup fruit slush with 3/4 cup soda.
